Outreach & CollaborationsNAMSSN UI wants its work to be visible beyond its own members: in nearby secondary schools and in collaboration with other departments on campus. This page gives a quick overview and points to more detailed spaces that will be updated as activities begin.
Secondary school outreach
A structured outreach programme is being prepared to connect NAMSSN UI with secondary schools around Ibadan. The idea is simple: short visits where students give clear, friendly talks, run small problem or puzzle sessions, and answer questions about studying mathematics at UI.
A dedicated page has been created to hold the visit format and to act as a logbook once visits start taking place:

For students: you can indicate interest in joining the outreach team through the Join NAMSSN UI form, under an outreach/community option. As the first group of volunteers is formed, their details and roles can be listed on the dedicated page.
For schools: the outreach page leaves space for a simple contact email or form that schools can use to invite NAMSSN UI. Once the official contact details are agreed, they can be added there and, if needed, referenced again here.
Interdepartmental collaborations
Interdepartmental collaborations are meant to connect NAMSSN UI with other departments whose students regularly use mathematics: physics, computer science, statistics, engineering, economics, and others. The intention is to host joint mini-seminars, mixed problem sessions, and small cross-department projects.

For now, this is a framework rather than a list of past events. As soon as a real collaboration is held, its title, departments involved, and a short summary can be added to that page and briefly referenced here.
